O Lord Ganesha, please grant us a fulfilled life. 1) O Lord we depend on You. We worship You by dancing and singing Your praises in the temple. We have come to Your refuge. Please grant me the peaceful mind and good fortune. You are a great true Guru. 2) O Lord Ganesha, You are the primeval Lord. You are the Lord of the Ganas (the attendants of Lord Shiva). O elephant faced Lord, You have a wonderful white form. All glories to You, O Lord of Lords, the remover of all obstacles! You are the Divine light of supreme consciousness (knowledge) of Lord Shiva. 3) You are the essence of wisdom, renunciation and contemplation. You are the temple of sound and melody. Your Feet have expertise in dancing. O Lord Ganesha, You are the Lord of chanting the Name of Lord Hari and singing the praises of the virtues of the Lord by nine forms of devotional worship. All glories to You, the Lord of the universe! 4) Searching and searching, people run here and there. Can they search and find You? O great Lord shining like a mountain, You are served by crores of white elephants. 5) O beloved, most beautiful son of Goddess Parvati and infinite Lord Shiva. You are the supreme Lord Who delivers us from the ocean of worldly existence. O Lord Ganesha, Your face is very auspicious for Your devotees. You are the primordial sound Om. Your pure, fragrant Feet sanctify.
