Translation

O friend! Chant the holy Name of the Guru. This is the only refuge. He is the sustainer of the world. 1) How shall I praise the Guru, the Lord of the helpless. His Name is Merciful Lord. His job is to provide for and protect those who are suffering and helpless. The fortune of millions has been uplifted by the Guru. He is the sustainer of the world. 2) What trust can we have in this material life? Simply remember the Guru. What are you thinking? Don’t waste this precious life. Hand over the rudder of your life (in the hands of the Guru), then you will be close to the shore (the destination). He is the sustainer of the world. 3) Who is yours? What will go with you? Meditate upon the Guru. This body is futile. The illusions of the world are treacherous. Try to recognise the Guru. O ignorant resident of this worldly forest, why have you forgotten the Guru? He is the sustainer of the world.
