Satguru Mera Pura

(original poetry by Guru Nanak Dev Ji) Why would the mind feel despair or detachment? My Satguru is complete, my Satguru is entirely perfect. He is the granter of all desires and the treasure chest of all happiness; He is completely filled with the nectar pool of the holy company. Fix your mind upon the compassionate Lord; by serving the Satguru, all fruits and blessings are attained. Enshrining the lotus feet of the Guru within the heart, the divine light of my beloved Lord has awakened and shone forth. Gathering together in harmony, we sing songs of auspicious celebration while the unstruck celestial sound current plays on. O seeker, the broken thread has been reunited along the path, and the auspicious resting place of peace and joy is attained.
