Translation

All glories to Lord Krishna, the consort of the Goddess of wealth; the transcendental Cupid; the slayer of the demon Mura! All glories to the Divine couple Srī Rādhā and Srī Krishna! They are also known as “Shyāma (the beloved of Shyām Sundar) - Shyām (Lord Krishna with dark complexion)”. All glories to Lord Krishna, the slayer of demon Keshi Who removes the miseries of the dark age of Kali. 1) Lord Krishna is wearing beautiful earrings. He has lovely widened eyes. Around His neck hangs the splendorous garland of victory. Srī Rādhā sacrifices unto this beautiful image of His. 2) Sometimes Srī Krishna secretly plundered the yogurt and ate it. Sometimes He performed the Rāsa-dance with the gopis in the forest of Madhuvana. Srī Krishna Who loves to wander in the forest is dancing. 3) Along with the cowherd boys, Srī Krishna takes the cows for grazing. The king of the Yadu dynasty is wandering from forest to forest with a blanket draped over His shoulder. 4) O slayer of demon Mura, as You repeatedly stole and ate the fresh butter from the homes of the maidens of Vraja, they have named You ‘Makhan-Chor’ (the butter thief). 5) One day You curbed the pride of Indra by lifting the great Govardhan mountain upon the tip of Your little fingernail. Thus, You came to be called as “Giridhārī”. 6) You did not accept the sumptuous feast of the wicked Duryodhana but ate the monotonous food offered at the home of Your devotee Vidura. O Lord Krishna, You are such a great worshipper of love. 7) In deep agony when Draupadi called for help, merciful Lord Krishna (the wanderer of the forests) made His protection around Her in the form of unlimited Saree (dress cloth material). Both Men and women there wondered. 8) O Lord Krishna, You deliver all Your devotees. Devoid of devotion, we are standing at Your door, please take news of us. 9) O driver of Arjuna's chariot, You gave the instructions of Srīmad Bhagavad Gita to Arjun on the battlefield. You hold the most powerful disc weapon called Sudarshana Chakra.
