Translation
O enchanting Lord Krishna, You are the bestower of auspiciousness. You subdued the poisonous serpent Kāliya. O Giridhārīji, You lifted the Govardhan mountain to save the people of Vraj from the wrath of Indra. You slayed the demon Mura. You captured the hearts of the gopīs. Our salutations to Srī Krishna adorned with garland of holy basil (tulsī) leaves of Vrindāvan and dressed in yellow silks. ‘Words are the only jewels I possess Words are the only clothes I wear Words are only the food that sustain my life Words are the only wealth I distribute among people.’ - Tukaram -
