All glories to Lord Krishna, the giver of salvation; the enemy of the demon Mura! 1) Lord Krishna is the ocean of compassion. He is the Lord of Goddess Lakshmī. He is dressed in golden garments. He is the protector of the cows, the cowherds and all beings. 2) He subdued the poisonous serpent Kaliya. He slayed demon king Kamsa. He has elongated eyes like the petals of the lotus. 3) He has curly hair locks and a blue complexion like that of petals of a blue water lily. He captivates and gives joy to all with the sweet songs from His flute. He possesses the charm of billions of cupids. I worship the cowherd Krishna Whom the gopis attained with their merits. 4) He is the enchanter of the hearts of the gopis and is omnipresent. He has a blue complexion like that of the petals of the blue water-lily.
