We sing the praises of Srī Krishna, the beloved son of Nanda Maharaj. He is the butter stealer. He is the beloved of Srī Rādhā. He is the protector of the cows, cowherds and all beings. He held the Govardhan mountain to protect the people of Vraj. He is the slayer of the demon Mura. Srī Krishna, the little child of the Gokul is the cherisher of cows. He gives joy to all with His melodious flute. He is the cherisher of the sages. (He enjoys the dance of Divine love. He is the beloved of the gopis).
