Meaning

Translation

Our humble obeisances to Srī Rādhā and Lord Krishna. 1) Srī Rādhā’s visage has the radiance of the Moon. She steals hearts with her bubbly nature. Graceful Srī Krishna with dark complexion has an innocent face. Srī Rādhā and Srī Krishna are one as a couple. 2) Srī Rādhā looks sweet dressed in orange with a five colours scarf. Srī Krishna is dressed in yellow silks with a small black blanket draped over His shoulder. Their form is one with a beautiful sweet image. 3) Srī Rādhā shines like the Moon. The crown with the pea- cock feather on Srī Krishna’s head is lustrous. The nectar of their love overflows. 4) Srī Rādhā is adorned with musk perfume, and a big dot on the forehead with the kumkum (red turmeric powder). Srī Krishna, the Moon of the Vraj is adorned with the sandalwood Tilak (mark) on the forehead. Srī Rādhā is beautiful like the full Moon of sharad (early autumn) and beloved Srī Krishna looks very pleasing. 5) Srī Rādhā is adorned with a Lehenga (Skirt). Srī Krishna, the consort of Goddess Lakshmī is adorned with a Dhoti till knees. Their image enchants the hearts of Brahma (the creator), sages and the silent sages. 6) Srī Rādhā is adorned with the jewels studded with gems. Srī Krishna, the great dancer has the Kaustubh gem on His lotus chest. The melodious sound of Srī Krishna’s flute and Srī Rādhā’s dance enchants all. 7) Srī Rādhā has a beautiful radiant smile and irresistible beautiful eyes. Srī Krishna enchants the hearts of all. They have a sweet smile and sweet voice. 8) Srī Rādhā removes the sorrows of the material world. Srī Krishna, the slayer of the demon Mura, removes all the troubles. They are both only one power and only one support of all. 9) Srī Rādhā is the Divine light, the Divine Mother of the world. Srī Krishna is the sustainer, the Father and the benevolent Giver of the world. They are the well-known support of the world. 10) Srī Rādhā and Srī Krishna ferry the devotees across the ocean of the material world. They are the embodiment of auspiciousness and the grantor of liberation. 11) Srī Rādhā is the Goddess of all and she destroys all the sorrows. Srī Krishna is the Lord of the three worlds and he removes the three fold miseries of life. Srī Rādhā is the supreme Goddess and Srī Krishna is the immaculate supreme Lord. 12) Whosoever meditates on the Lotus Feet of Srī Rādhā and Srī Krishna three times a day, that being in the world attains the supreme abode of the Lord. That beautiful being is adored by Srī Rādhā and Srī Krishna.
