Meaning

Translation

O mind, chant the sweet names of the Lord Srī Hari - Srī Rādhe Govinda (Lord of the universe Who is beloved of Srī Rādhā), Gopāla (the protector of the cows, cowherds and all beings), Nanda Lala (the beloved son of Nanda Maharaj). 1) Mīrābāī was always calling Lord Krishna as “Giridhar nagar”, the holder of the Govardhan mountain. Surdas was in love with Lord Krishna. Saint Tukaram and Saint Namdev sang the praises of Lord Vitthala. 2) Without Srī Rādhā’s power, no one can have the blessed vision of Lord Krishna. When one worships and prays to Srī Rādhā, Srī Krishna comes running to meet His beloved devotees. 3) Saint narsinh Mehta played the cymbals and pleased his beloved Lord Krishna. The elderly ascetic, Shabari fed sweet berries to the Lord by her own hands. 4) One who enjoys the nectar of the remembrance of the Lord, only knows about the taste of it in his heart. The formless Lord manifests His ownself and comes to meet His true devotees. 5) The sweet Lord Krishna with dark complexion wanders in the groves of Vrindāvan. He is a great performer, most apt at performing His Divine plays. He is the eternal (imperishable) Lord dwelling in the hearts of all. O Lord, we seek Your refuge. We are blessed, You came O Lord of Pandharpur. All glories to my Lord Vitthala!
