Meaning

Translation

O my beautiful Lord Krishna, satsang (a congregation of the holy people) is just an excuse to meet You. Since I have met and become devoted to You, my heart has gone crazy for You. 1) I searched for You in Gokul and in Mathura. But my Krishna resides in the streets of Vrindāvan. 2) I searched for You on the banks of sacred river Ganges and Yamunā. But my Krishna resides in the heart of Srī Rādhā. 3) I searched for You in the holy scriptures - Ramayan and Srimad Bhagavatam. My Krishna resides in the pages of the Bhagavad Gita. 4) I searched for You among the cowherds and the gopis. But my Krishna resides in the heart of Srī Rādhā. 5) I searched for You in the temples and in the forests. But my Krishna resides in the hearts of the devotees. 6) You are my Mother and Father. You are my relative and my friend. The worldly people do not know that my relationship with You is very old. 7) O Krishna, please come now! Please do not make me suffer in the pain of separation. O Krishna holding the Govardhan mountain, this is my last call to meet You.
