Meaning

Translation

Vrindāvan is filled with the melodious sound of the flute. 1) For whom is this flute playing? The Govardhan mountain resonates and delights with the beautiful sound of the flute. 2) A peacock has spread his tail in glory. To me he seems like Srī Krishna, the King of the Yadavas. 3) The cattle forgot to graze (hearing the melody of the Divine flute). The cows and tigers are sitting side by side at one place. The flocks of birds are resting without fear. All animals forgot their enmity. 4) The air is filled with the sweet sound emanating from the flute. The anklets make delicate sounds. The demigods seated in their heavenly vehicles are singing the praises of Lord Krishna from the sky. Saint Bhanudas realised the loving devotion of the Lord (having witnessed this scene).
