Meaning

Translation

O Goddess Durga, You are the queen of the whole world. 1) O Divine Mother, You are the queen of the whole world. You are the primeval all powerful Goddess. 2) Taking the monkeys in front, You proceed to wave the flag of victory. Bhairavnath walks behind You waving the chamara whisk. 3) O greatest queen, all the demigods worship You. The sages and silent sages worship You. All wise beings worship You. 4) You save the honor of the meek, helpless and sufferers. Both the Sun and Moon are Your luminous lights. 5) O Divine Mother, You are the greatest bestower. You give happiness to Your devotees. O Divine Mother, I feel as if I know You. 6) Satinder (the composer of bhajan) says - O Divine Mother, please remove my distress. Please remove the distress of all Your devotees as well.
