Om Namo Nārāyanāya O Goddess Maha Lakshmī, You reside at the sacred shrines. O daughter of the milky ocean, please protect me. 1) O Mother, You worship Lord Vishnu Who has a lotus emanating from His navel. O Goddess, Your eyes are beautiful like the lotus petals. Your lotus Name is graceful. You are very lovely with the nature of Mother Earth. You are always worshipped seated in the lotus. You are charming with Lotus Feet. You have lotus hands and a lotus heart. Your complexion is soft, delicate as pollens. 2) You bestow the cherished boons. You destroy the sufferings and evils of the material existence. You have eight blessed forms. You ward off the sins of the wicked people. You are the consort of sweet Srī Krishna, who killed the demon Madhu. You have beautiful dark hair. You are the Mother of the God of love. You remove the pride, stubborn mindedness. You protect and nurture like Mother Earth. 3) You hold the conch, the disc weapon and the mace. You are the Goddess Saraswati delivering from troubled times. You bestow auspiciousness and victory to Lord Shiva and other demigods, warriors and the great sages. You (Dakshinamurti) destroyed the demon, dolasur. You love Your devotees who praise You enthusiastically. Please protect me, O Divine Mother. Your abode is Srīrangam (with Lord Rangnath).
