Translation

All glories of Goddess Durga! O Divine Mother, You destroy the miseries. You are the slayer of the demon Mahishasur. You are the creator of the world. You bestow auspiciousness. 1) You possess ten arms, ten weapons. You slayed the demons Madhu and Kaitabh. There is none like You. You are the giver of life. You remove the sorrows. 2) You killed the demons Shumbh and Nishumbh. You grant devotion and liberation. You are the splendor of the world. You are the greatest ascetic. You destroy the evil, O consort of Lord Shiva. 3) You are the Goddess Saraswati possessing sattvic (good- ness) qualities. You are a form of Goddess Lakshmī possessing Rajasic (passion) qualities.
