Translation
The Mother of the Universe, please take me across the ocean of samsara to the ultimate freedom. 1) Over these nine days that we come to You, Mother Durga, and we light the lamp of hope that You will remove the darkness of our minds. 2) Your light which is formless and all encompassing is glorified by Shiva Shankar, Brahma, Vishnu and all the yogis who sing Your praises. 3) You come to Your devotees in the form which is dearest to them, and by removing the pride in us You allow us to fill Your true nature. 4) We are blinded by delusion; we have forgotten our belonging to You. Show us the way out of this delusion, beloved Mother.
