Hari Hari Nārāyana

Nārāyana, the source of everything, who possesses mesmerizing lotus eyes, please take control of my life. 1) Lord Rama, you possess all great virtues. You are the Master of the Universe and You overcome the evil forces. 2) Lord Rama, You are the beautiful Ruler of the entire cre- ation, the most powerful Being who takes us across the ocean of life. 3) We bow to you, Lord Rama, who roams in the hearts of your devotees, grants our wishes, and has a pure personality. 4) Salutations to you, Who protects all the gods, I surrender to you. Praise be to You who protect this creation. 5) You alone rule them, oh Ruler of all worlds, from small living beings like worms and ants to large living beings like Lord Brahma. 6) You are the sole subject of all four Vedas and their various limbs. 7) We cannot achieve nirvana or moksha even after reading so much. Only through the grace of Nārāyana can we achieve realisation. 8) Your Holy Name is the only way for all beings to be free. 9) Having no understanding of true knowledge, people be- come ignorant, and they go looking for different gods, ending up in illusion. 10) When Gajendra, the elephant king, got captured by the crocodile, You saved him, my beloved Father. 11) You saved Draupadi when they had dragged her by catching her hair, Lord of all creation. 12) When the gods were attacked by the asuras, you protected them, oh God of all gods. 13) When Kakasura made the mistake of attacking Sita, it realised its error and begged Your Lordship's forgiveness.
