Chorus: Chant the Name of Lord Nārāyana, Lord Nārāyan the wellkeeper of body and mind; removes misery, fear and confers peace of mind; destroys evil and demons. Chant the Name of Lord Nārāyana. 1) Lord Nārāyana has incarnated again and again assuming various forms, whenever devotees are in trouble, destroying sins and infusing courage and patience, Lord Nārāyana saved humanity. The Lord Krishna (Avatār of Nārāyana) who wandred in fruit grooves, played the flute and lifted and dorned the hill. Chant the Name of Lord Nārāyana. 2) Thou incarnated at Matsya (fish), Kurma (turtle), Varaha (boar), Narasimha (half lion and half human), Vamana (small, dwarf form), Parashurāma, Rāma, and Krishna to destroy evil-doers. Thou Lord having shown the path to salvation by assuming various forms and been playful with bhaktas. Chant the Name of Lord Nārāyana. 3) Focussing the mind through the devotional singing of bhajans leads everyone to the path of devotion, thus showing the way to cross the ocean of life and death. Chant the Name of Lord Hari Nārāyana, who resides in devotees hearts.
