Terā Shukara Karā

I am very grateful to You, Guruji! You have maintained our relationship till the end (eternally). I am very grateful to You my Gurudev, Srī Swāmī Vishwānanda! 1) You called me to Your court. I am very grateful to Guruji! You gave me the opportunity to serve Your Lotus Feet. You ignored my vices and sins. You Yourself accepted me and brought me closer to You. You eradicated my pride and ego. You grew patience in me. You never expressed all You did for me. You have carried us across the worldly existence. 2) Day and night You have given me a lot. I am very grateful to Guruji! I am Yours each moment. When it’s dusk (tough times), I thank You. When it’s dawn (good times), I thank You. My happiness and sorrows are Yours. nothing belongs to me. I see You as the all-pervading Lord in every atom of existence. I see Your presence everywhere around me. The Lord Himself stood up to resolve the affairs of the saints. The Lord has come so they can fulfil their tasks. 3) My Satguru is the bestower of peace. I am very grateful to Guruji! I thank You Guruji for hearing my prayers. Guruji, You did not delay in helping me. You dispelled all my sorrows and pains. You have made me very fortunate. You have given value to my life. You have raised my standard of living. You have blessed me with respectful earning of my livelihood. My beloved true Guru is always with me! 4) Guruji, You have introduced me to the best of the best. Guruji, You have taught me earn (my food) with honest effort Guruji, You awaken my confidence/trust in You. Guruji, Your elusive powers are great and praiseworthy. Guruji, You made my every task successful. Guruji, You taught me how to be humble. Guruji, You wiped my tears away. Guruji, by bowing down to You, my wishes got fulfilled. 5) Guruji, Your Name is on everyone's tongue Guruji, You are present in all hearts. Guruji, You are with me in good times. Guruji, You are with me in tough times. Guruji, You are present in all four directions. Guruji, Your glories are being sung everywhere. Guruji, You are present in every particle of the universe. Guruji, You are present in our bodies and minds. All say together praises of Guruji. All sing with sweet nectar voices, the praises of Guruji. Guruji is the image of the Lord. Guruji is the embodiment of the Divine. With Guruji, we get rid of our worries. With each breath we chant Guruji-Guruji.
