Meaning

Translation

Say (the Name of the Lord as) Sītā-Rām! The way Rām ji will keep us, that way we will stay. 1) With the Name of Lord Rām in your mouth, with service of Lord Rām in hand, you are not alone (dear) fellow, Ramjii is with you. Accept the preordained destiny, and bear the losses and gains happily. 2) If you are proud, then you will not be honoured. Only that will happen, which pleases Srī Ramji. Renounce the fruits of actions and hopes. Keep doing good deeds. 3) Hand over the leash of your life, in hand of the Lord of the destitutes. Even if He keeps you in palaces or makes you stay in a hut, without questioning, just be always thankful, and say the Name of the Lord. 4) Keep hope only from the Lord, leave hopes (and expectations) from others. Relate (connect) with the Lord, break all other bond. Leave the ordinary pleasures dear, drink the nectar of the Lord.
