Srī Rāmānujachāraya is the emperor of the sages. The true Guru should be like Him. 1) Srī Rāmānujachāraya is the supreme Lord Vishnu Himself. He liberated the Brahmarakshas that possessed the King’s daughter at Kanchi. He is the Lord Vishnu with four arms. A truly merciful one has to be like Him. 2) Srī Kuresh was the disciple of Srī Rāmānujachāraya. Dāsarathi (Swāmī Mudaliyandan), the nephew of Srī Rāmānujachāraya served Him with great devotion all his life. Both Srī Kuresh and Srī Dāsarathi gave up everything (even their lives) for their Guru. Truly surrendered disciples have to be like them. 3) Srī Govinda Bhattar accepted to serve Sriman Nārāyana as the supreme Lord. He served Srī Rāmānujachāraya day and night and got the title of “Embar”, the most revered acharya. Srī Govinda Bhattar was married but he lived a life of Brahmachari. He saw the supreme Lord in his wife. A true renunciate should be like him. 4) Srī Brahmatantra Swatantra Jeeyar Swāmī, a disciple of Srī Vedanta Desika Swāmī established Srī Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Matham. 36 eminent scholars and sages have adorned it’s Holy seat from 1338 till now. The true worshippers of the Lord has to be like them. 5) I do not have devotion and renunciation. Srī Siyaram Das Ji says - my only power and support is the lotus Feet of Srī Rāmānujachāraya. Those who are truly ripened in their devotion and service should be like this.
