Meaning

Translation

Let us sing the glories of Bholenath, Lord Shiva. Let's lose ourselves in His devotional worship. Sing the glories of the innocent Lord who is source of bliss, husband of Goddess Gauri and Lord of the meek and helpless. 1) He has Divine radiance on His face, the ashes smeared on His body, a garland of serpent around his neck. He has a crescent Moon on the forehead and Ganges flows from His matted hair. The Divine form of Lord Shiva looks exquisite. He is the knower of the hearts, Lord of all, the protector of the devotees. He is the giver of the Divine light to the three realms day and night. 2) After drinking the sacred drink, when Lord Shiva is in an ecstatic mood, He takes the Damaru in His hand. He Him-self dances and makes everyone dance too. Whosoever lights the lamp of faith and devotion in their heart, my inno-cent Lord showers His love upon them. The innocent Lord Shiva takes one across the ocean of material existence, fixes the misfortunes, removes the difficulties and struggles in life, removes the sufferings. All glories to the Lord of the meek and helpless, the Lord of the Goddess Gauri, the Lord of the Badri temple, the Lord of Bliss. The innocent Lord Shiva is unique among all, is sweetest of all, is the holder of Damaru, innocent proprietor.
