Translation

Chant the many names of the Lord: Shankara, Samba Sadā Shiva, and Mahesha. O Lord Mahesha! You are fond of the 'Tāndav' (the cosmic dance) and are adorned with the Moon as decoration on Your forehead. You are worshipped by the darling son of Mother Ambā, Lord Ganesha, who has a mighty body. Thou art resident of Sringeri, high in the Himalayas.
