Tum Sharnāyi Āya Thakur

I have come to Your refuge, O Lord. All the doubts and fears of my mind have been dispelled, ever since I beheld Your blessed Darshan. Without me even speaking, You understood my pain and made me chant Your Name. O Lord, I have come to Your refuge. [1] My sorrows have ended, and I am naturally immersed in peace. I sing praises of Your virtues in divine joy. O Lord, I have come to Your refuge. [2] Holding my arm, You have lifted me out of the deep, dark well of worldly attachments. O Lord, I have come to Your refuge. [3] Guru Arjan (the 5th Guru Nanak) says, “The Guru has cut away my worldly bonds and reunited me with the Divine from whom I was separated.” O Lord, I have come to Your refuge. [4]
