Meaning
Translation
Today there is joy - supreme, absolute bliss. The scriptures say “not this, not this,” yet cannot define Him - so we lovingly call Him Govinda. 1) The Vedas themselves speak of Vithoba - we are immersed in bliss forever. We sing, we dance, we clap our hands— and bring delight to Govinda. 2) For us, it is always a festival— every day is Diwali. Filled with bliss and free of fear, the Lord alone is our guardian and support. 3) Tuka says: we have no fear of birth or death— we are beyond this illusion of Maya. Even saints and ancient sages look upon this state with wonder.
