Muruga
Muruga (also known as Kartikeya) is a prominent deity in Hinduism, especially worshipped in South India. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and is often depicted as a youthful, brave warrior riding a peacock and holding a spear (called Vel).
